Publish Time: 2024-07-02
When using a Sonic Toothbrush, it is essential to master the correct brushing method to maintain oral health. The following are detailed steps and precautions on how to use a Sonic Toothbrush correctly:

1. Preparation

Install the brush head: Tightly insert the brush head into the toothbrush shaft to ensure that the brush head and the metal shaft are firmly buckled.

Adjust the softness of the bristles (optional): First-time users are advised to soak the brush head in warm water (below 40°C) to adjust the softness and hardness of the bristles to make it more suitable for personal oral feelings.

2. Squeeze toothpaste

Take an appropriate amount of toothpaste: Squeeze a soybean-sized amount of toothpaste vertically into the middle of the bristles to avoid excessive waste and splashing.

Soak the brush head: Gently soak the brush head with toothpaste squeezed in to reduce the possibility of toothpaste splashing.

3. Brushing process

Place the toothbrush: Insert the brush head from the thinnest front teeth, so that the teeth are sandwiched between the three sides of the bristles.

Start the toothbrush: After the toothpaste foams, turn on the electric switch and let the brush head start vibrating.

Brushing angle: According to the Bass brushing method, make the bristles at a 45° angle to the gum line, move the toothbrush slowly, and clean the teeth in a circular motion. Be careful not to press too hard.

Partition brushing: Divide the mouth into four areas: upper, lower, left, and right. Brush each area for at least 30 seconds to ensure that each tooth surface is fully cleaned.

Brush the tongue surface: After brushing, you can use the tongue scraper on the back of the brush head to gently scrape off the tongue coating on the tongue to achieve the effect of comprehensive cleaning of the mouth.

4. End and cleaning

Turn off the toothbrush: Please turn off the toothbrush power before taking the toothbrush out of your mouth to prevent foam splashing.

Rinse and clean: Rinse your mouth with clean water to rinse off the toothpaste foam and residue in your mouth.

Clean the toothbrush: After each brushing, put the brush head in water, turn on the electric switch, shake it gently a few times, and then tap the brush head to wash away foreign matter and toothpaste remaining on the bristles.

5. Precautions

Each brushing time should reach 2-3 minutes to ensure comprehensive cleaning.

Check and replace the brush head regularly. It is generally recommended to replace it every 3 months to maintain the elasticity and cleaning effect of the bristles.

Use fluoride toothpaste to enhance the tooth's anti-caries ability.

By following the above steps and precautions, you can use Sonic Toothbrush more effectively for oral cleaning and maintain oral health.
